Order Cancellation

Before Shipment You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched from our warehouse. To do so, contact our support team at info@maxfurnindia.in with your order number as soon as possible. Orders are typically processed within 24 hours of placement, so prompt communication is essential.

After Shipment Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. You may instead initiate a return once the item has been delivered, in accordance with our Returns Policy. Return shipping costs in such cases will be borne by the customer.

COD Orders For Cash on Delivery orders, cancellations must be requested before the item is out for delivery. Repeated cancellations of COD orders after dispatch may result in COD privileges being withdrawn from your account.


Non-Cancellable Orders

The following orders cannot be cancelled once placed:

  • Custom-made or specially ordered furniture pieces produced to your specifications
  • Items that have already been dispatched or are out for delivery
  • Orders placed during limited-time flash sales or special promotional events, unless the item is found to be defective upon delivery

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered under the following circumstances:

  • The order was successfully cancelled before shipment
  • The delivered item is confirmed to be damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was described on the website
  • The item was lost in transit and delivery was not completed within the extended timeframe
  • A duplicate payment was made in error during the checkout process

Refunds are not applicable in the following situations:

  • The customer changes their mind after the order has been shipped
  • The item shows signs of use, assembly, or installation
  • The return request is raised more than 30 days after the date of delivery
  • The damage was caused after delivery due to improper handling or installation

Refund Process

Once your cancellation or return is approved by our team, refunds are processed as follows:

Prepaid Orders — The refund will be credited to your original payment method, whether that is a credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking account, or wallet. Please allow 7–10 business days for the amount to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.

COD Orders — Since cash payments cannot be reversed digitally, refunds for COD orders will be issued as store credit or via bank transfer to an account provided by you. Please allow 5–7 business days for bank transfer refunds to be processed.

Duplicate Payments — Duplicate payment refunds are processed within 3–5 business days and returned to the original payment source.


 Partial Cancellations

If your order contains multiple items, you may request cancellation of individual items rather than the entire order, provided those items have not yet been dispatched. Contact our support team with your order number and the specific item or items you wish to cancel.

Refunds for partially cancelled orders will be calculated on a per-item basis and processed accordingly.


Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund has not appeared within the stated timeframe, we recommend the following steps:

  • Verify your bank account or payment wallet for a pending transaction
  • Contact your credit card provider or bank, as internal posting times can vary
  • Allow an additional 2–3 business days before escalating, as delays occasionally occur at the banking level

If you have completed the above steps and your refund is still missing, please write to us at info@maxfurnindia.in with your order number and payment details. We will resolve the matter promptly.


 How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel an order, follow these steps:

  1. Email info@maxfurnindia.in with the subject line: Order Cancellation — [Your Order Number]
  2. Include your full name, registered phone number, and reason for cancellation
  3. Our team will confirm the cancellation status within 24 business hours
  4. If eligible, your refund will be initiated within 2 business days of confirmation
